Looking for an easy and incredibly delicious meal that comes together in under 30 minutes? These Chopped Italian Hoagie Sliders are perfect for game day, tailgating or if you’re simply looking to make a meal that will use up all that deli meat in the fridge.
Recipe tips:
For the buns: I prefer to use normal slider buns but some people love Hawaiian rolls. Both are delicious, but I find the Hawaiian rolls to be a little too sweet. Use whichever you prefer!
For the peppers: These peppers are an ingredient you can definitely omit if they aren’t your thing. Theres a sandwich shop here in Texas that uses them and although I’m not typically a fan of spicy things, these add such a great flavor! You can also try using banana peppers or pepperoncinis if you’d like!
Toasting: I like to toast my sandwich when it’s just the buns, meat, cheese, onion and peppers. Then I remove them from the oven, add the lettuce and serve. If you want to skip this step and add the lettuce and cook all at once go for it! It really is up to your preference.
This recipe is easy and so so tasty with the dressing and buttery garlic herb topping on the buns. If you end up trying the recipe please leave a comment and rating below! 🙂
