Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter melted. I prefer to use salted butter but you can use unsalted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs room temperature
  • 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 3.4 oz box instant vanilla or french vanilla pudding mix it must be instant!
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup M&Ms
  • 1 cup Oreos, roughly chopped about 8

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°. In the bowl of stand mixer combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Mix on low until combined. Add in the eggs and mix on low until incorporated.
  • With the mixer on low, slowly add in the flour, baking soda, instant vanilla pudding and salt and mix until everything is evenly incorporated. Remove the bowl from the stand mixer and add in the Oreo's and M&Ms. Stir in by hand using a rubber spatula.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Use a medium sized cookie scoop (about 2 tablespoons of dough per cookie, and evenly space 6-8 cookies at least 1 inch apart on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 9 minutes, or until the edges just start to become golden brown. Pull them out when they are just barely baked. I like to stick 2-3 M&Ms and Oreo pieces into the cookies while they are still hot. It's not required but makes the cookies look pretty!
  • Allow the cookies to sit on the cookie sheet for 3-4 minutes before placing on a cooling rack to cool completely. Do not over bake! This will allow them to stay soft and chewy. These will be fresh for 1 week and can freeze in an air tight container for up to 3 months.
